She recently graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies from Mulungushi University. With this bursary, Nillian is looking to make a difference by narrowing the gap in the provision of occupational health services in Zambia and becoming one of the very few qualified exposure assessment and control practitioners in her region.

Mafuta Noredi Muzama (South Africa)
Noredi recently graduated with a science degree in Environmental Health from the Durban University of Technology. The bursary will help her transition to occupational hygiene by providing an understanding of the techniques used in assessing exposure to hazardous substances. Noredi is looking to join the task force that improves occupational health and to fight the good fight.

Thulasizwe Sifundza (Eswatini)
Thulasizwe is a Port Health Officer with the Eswatini Ministry of Health. Currently, there are no occupational hygiene service providers in Eswatini, and all the work is outsourced to South African companies. The bursary will allow Thulasizwe to become a registered Occupational Hygiene Technologist and to offer OH service locally.

We hope this support will enable them to realise their full potential and advance the Occupational Hygiene profession in their countries.
